Robbert discovered this formation on the night from Saturday to Sunday, July 18/19, in the same field as where formation nr. 1 and 2 of this year had emerged. He already received a vision in advance about in what form it would arise. He therefore had made a drawing of it beforehand. He also perceived a huge ball of light upon entering the field.

The formation consisted of 1 larger circle surrounded by 11 smaller circles. We haven’t seen this shape a lot in the Netherlands, even the grain (winter-wheat) was laid down perfectly. A work of art to look at. The counterclockwise lying grain even had left the lumps of clay undamaged and had laid itself over them along with the shape of the chumps. The larger circle had a diameter of about 40 ft, but was not completely round. The attached drawing to scale indicates that the other circles where much smaller, ranging from Ø 13 ft to the north-east to Ø 6 ft at the south-east end of the tail. From head to tail the formation measured a total of 88.5 ft in length and was 62.3 ft in width. Richard van Rijswijk has mapped a complete construction drawing of it, and who knows, some pattern will emerge from that which can be calculated geometrically. An examination into the grain will also be performed and might possibly indicate that the circle took shape by means of radiation or heating, which may or may not have been caused by unknown phenomena.

On Sunday July 12, a ‘new’ crop circle was discovered by Robbert in Standdaarbuiten. Robbert: “During the night from last Saturday to Sunday, I was attracted to the fields near Standdaarbuiten again and got the feeling that we (he and a girl friend) had to go to a certain field. This field however contained nothing remarkable, so we went to the field next to it, where we found these circles”.

This time as well it concerns a (oval) circle, surrounded by 3 smaller ones, one of which also appears to be an oval. The larger ‘circle’, in which the crop (winter wheat again this time) again is flattened counterclockwise, has a dimension of  34 to 25.5 ft in diameter. The smaller circles each measure Ø 6.9 ft and the small oval circle 14.44 ft. The smaller circles lie in a triangle around the large one, at a distance of 1.65 to 2 ft. The crop has a length of approx. 3.3 ft.

Robbert could tell that after this formation, the crop circle season wasn’t over yet. So on to the next.

The 2nd Dutch crop circle arose on the night of Sunday to Monday (July 5/6). Robbert told that he, along with a girl friend, was taking pictures in Hoeven as he suddenly got the urge to go back to Standdaarbuiten again. On arrival to the already existing formation, they both heard a loud cracking sound and saw a flash (which certainly was not a thunderstorm). Running in the direction from which the sound came, they found this new formation.

The diameter of this formation is more than 260 ft. For Dutch standards a more or less different concept of what we have seen before.

About 160 ft further into the field than the previous formation, there lay 3 small circles close to each other (two of Ø 6.5 ft and one of  Ø 5.25 ft). 26 ft further away, there lay a large ring with a width of 0.66 to 0.82 ft and a whopping 804 ft in circumference. After another 98 ft there lay a second ring with the same width, and after 6.5 ft again a smaller ring. In the center of these parallel rings lay an oval circle of Ø 11.5 to 17 ft (see diagram). This formation lay exactly under high-voltage power lines. This is a phenomenon that occurs frequently in crop circles.

In all cases the crop was rotated counterclockwise. Here and there it even seemed that the wheat ‘went into a skid’. From this formation too, a research into the grain has been performed by Sjaak Damen. You can read more about this in the section: Wonderful Events.

Robbert reported the first Dutch crop circle for this year. Last weekend, after a few weary days, he got the feeling to go to the corresponding parcel somewhere in Standdaarbuiten. Together with a friend he there found this crop circle. The circles, 7 in total, lie in winter wheat on clay ground. In previous years formations had emerged on this field too.

In the crop of about 70 cm or 2.3 ft high, there lie 2 larger circles with before the first large circle (Ø 14.76 ft) an overlapped smaller circle (Ø 2.6 ft), and to the other side 2 separate circles (Ø 5.6 and 6.5 ft). A bit further, 72 ft away, lies an egg-shaped circle of 31 ft by 25 ft (at the widest point, not in the middle) in diameter. Diagonally behind that again 2 smaller circles of Ø 6.56 ft and Ø 7.55 ft. The crop lies anticlockwise in all circles. The high voltage power lines that hang on a distance of about 160 ft is something we’ve experienced before, it seems like the circles have some sympathy for this. 
 

This year, the first real crop circle of the Netherlands arose on the night of June 28 to 29 in Standdaarbuiten. There were other crop circles reported before, all of which however proved to be hoaxes. The owner of this plot was not very amused with this, what he called, “crop destruction”. According to his own statement, he has by now notified the Police, and wants to see absolutely NOBODY on his land.

The notification came from Robbert van den Broeke, who phoned on Saturday evening with the announcement that he had a premonition of what was about to happen, and that he had already drawn the appropriate formation on paper before it lay there on the ground.

It concerns a large circle with around it 4 smaller circles. These smaller circles have a diameter of 7.2 ft, 7.5 ft, 7.9 ft and 8.5 ft. The latter lay approx. 10 ft away from the large circle, the others 1 ft away. The large circle proved to be not perfectly round and measured 45.9 ft at its longest and 42.6 ft at its shortest diameter. From the center, a section ran outward to the periphery (thus forming a triangle), in which the crop all lay in one direction, the rest lay nicely round, counterclockwise. There were 2 ley lines (each 10 ft wide) detectable, one of which ran towards a church of a nearby town. Although the crop circle lay almost directly under high voltage power lines, an extreme form of peace could be felt. Also a rotating energy with an opposite flow direction relative to how the crop lay, clearly could be felt. There were no footprints observed in the circles and the crop clearly had curved growth-nodes.

Even the farmers story could not stop me from feeling relaxed. He was convinced that someone with a heavy roller was to blame, but my research proved this to be impossible, because the surface was nicely intact while where I had placed my feet, the ground was very crumbled. This certainly should have been the case if someone with a heavy roller would have gone over it. Alas, the farmer stood by his position and he wants to hear nothing more about it, period!!!

A supplement to the 2nd formation plus a completely new formation.

On the day that the first formation in the wheat field near Bosschenhoofd was discovered, Robbert had another strong ‘vision’. He saw over the corresponding field the Virgin Mary, bathed in a bluish light, ‘standing’ above the formation with her hands wide open, and from her hands, ‘rainbows’ fell on the ground. The air around her seemed to vibrate, similar to what one can observe in the desert. Robbert strongly felt that the energy in the rainbows was intended to help raise human consciousness, and that this increase is very important for the development of men.

In the evening of June 25, around half past ten, Robbert felt a strong urge to go to this formation. He went there with a girl friend. Upon arrival Robbert immediately felt the strong ‘Mary energy’ as mentioned.
It started to rain and they decided to go for a late snack at Mc. Donald’s. After the rain had stopped, they went back to the field at around 23.00 pm. As they walked into the formation, they discovered to their surprise that a fifth circle was added. Exactly like Robbert initially had drawn the formation.

A few minutes later, Robbert sees at some 250 ft away a kind of fog hanging above the field and decides to walk in that direction. As he comes closer to the mist-cloud, he again experiences the same ‘Mary energy’. Suddenly he hears a loud crackling sound (similar to dropping cold French fries into hot oil). Robbert is convinced that at that moment a new formation was created, due to earlier similar experiences in the past.

Moments later they indeed find a new formation on the exact spot where the mist hung and the direction of where the sound came from.

The formation consists of 4 circles that lie one behind the other with minimum spacing between them. The largest is about 26 ft in diameter, the other three range from 5 ft to 6.5 ft.

As with the nearby formation, the grain lay counterclockwise in all four circles.

In the third week of June, Robbert had the strong feeling that very soon a crop circle would arise. During the night between June 20/21, this feeling was so strong that he even could ‘see’ in which field it would happen this time: the field next to the local airport Seppe, near Bosschenhoofd.  Robbert described the feeling he had as ‘ UFO energy’. It was a powerful energy, but above all an especially sweet and healing energy. He even received the notion of how the formation would look like and made a sketch of it.

The next day they indeed found a formation in that field. However, there appeared to be one circle lacking compared to the drawing Robbert had made. This astonished him somewhat, because now, the way he felt it, the formation was unfinished.

There now lay one large circle with a diameter of approx. 20 ft and 3 smaller circles, two of which had a diameter of 5 ft. The third lay against the large one and was Ø 6.5 ft. The crop lay counterclockwise in all four circles, which is somewhat special as in most cases that would be clockwise. There was also a strikingly large amount of curved nodes in the stems of the crop.
 

The First Dutch – and also European – crop circle of 2007 is a fact. On March 13, Robbert van den Broeke discovered three circles in grass. It concerns a large circle and two smaller circles, a pattern that in the past few years has graced the fields of Hoeven for several times now.
 

For the entire past week, Robbert had the strong sense that “something” was about to happen. On March 12 the feeling became exceptionally strong and he therefore went on his bike into the fields, to see if he could find a new circle. Robbert went to different locations where, in the past, crop circles had appeared, but couldn’t find anything. Slightly disappointed, he returned back home in the late afternoon, but the feeling was still there. That night around 10.30 pm, while he sat on the couch in the living room and being wide awake, Robbert suddenly got a “vision” in which he clearly saw that a new crop circle was formed. In his vision he saw a large UFO hovering over a field about 1500 ft away from his “special field”, where in previous times many abnormal events had occurred. The UFO shot several light balls down toward the field and it were these light balls that created the circle at that time. Robbert told his parents about his vision and drew a diagram of how the new crop circle would look like. Because it had already become pretty dark outside, they decided to wait until the next morning, during which they found the new formation at the “Papenweg”, the location from his vision.

The whole thing lies in grass which has  a height of 1 to 1.3 ft. The large circle has a diameter of 29.5 ft and the 2 smaller circles approx. 5 ft. The small circles lie on the west side of the large circle. In all 3 circles the grass is bend counterclockwise. (Measurements and photos: DCCA)
